Dr. Shirley Wells is the chair and an associate professor in the Department of Occupational Therapy at The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. She was recognized as one of the 100 Influential People in Occupational Therapy by the American Occupational Therapy Association, Inc. (AOTA).
